Designed specifically for the GL1800 this is an inexpensive, quick and easy to install, alternative to a complete trailer towing hitch and wiring that enables the use of a rack.
The vertical receiver portion bolts easily to the frame behind the rear fender. The tongue slides into the receiver and is held in place by a locking hitch pin with two height adjustments. The chrome receiver bracket (supplied with either rack) bolts directly to the top of the tongue. The rack's two large mounting rods slip into the chrome receiver bracket and are secured by two small wire clips (supplied).
The rack and/or tongue can be removed or installed in seconds by removing the tongue pin.
The receiver is finished in gloss black powder coat and the tongue is finished with a tough bright Zinc plating. Use GL18007-IU for lights on large rack.
