Super strong, super light, completely hidden trailer hitch. Machined entirely out of Aircraft Aluminum, weighing in at only 8 lbs.
Attaches to the MAIN FRAME ONLY, no sub-frame attachments, not even for stability.
Compatible with both ball type and Heim joint type couplers. The hitch is strong enough to lift the 834.3 lb GL1800, yet it does not restrict the ability to remove the rear tire.
Our Micro-Relay Electronics system protects the high-tech electronics of the GL1800 fuel injection and ABS Braking system (if applicable). This also provides full battery voltage to your trailer lighting.
The key to its superior strength and rigidity is lightweight alloy metals and proper basic design elements like perfect triangulation of the mounting points, not heavy masses of steel.

If necessary, note which drop height tongue you require when ordering. Hitches ship standard with the 3" drop tongue, which is for trailers that have a tongue height between 11-14". This is compatible with 90% of all trailers. The 6" drop is for trailers with a level tongue height of 8-11". The 0" drop or "straight out" tongue will give a level trailer height, 13-16".
Note: Trailers have 4 or 5 wire systems. If your trailer has a 4 wire system, you will need to also purchase a 4-to-5 Wire Converter, EC07664, for $29.95 or get one at an auto parts store.
